All subjects. All grades. All staff.
Understanding how to develop, use and analyze high quality assessments - also known as assessment literacy - is not part of typical teacher or administrator preparation programs, yet high stakes situations demand high quality assessments and a crystal clear understanding of data use and analysis.
How does Navigating ASSESSMENT help educators?
Are you wondering?
Each Navigating ASSESSMENT module provides a step-by-step process which includes time for teachers to work together as they LEARN, PRACTICE, and REVIEW & PLAN. Included optional components provide additional time to APPLY the information learned in the module.
"The web-based Professional Development Math Modules and Assessment Modules have allowed us to continue our own professional growth throughout the school year. We are currently working through the web-based assessment modules. These modules are well paced and informative. They have been helpful in guiding our work reviewing assessments currently used in our district."

Training Options Available
We offer options for:
- Single User: individual accounts that give access to the modules that individual teachers need. All of the content is delivered through video presentations by our assessment expert, with a focus on assessments educators need and use in their classroom.
- PD Leader / Facilitator: school accounts that give access to not only the content, but also all of the materials needed to guide your staff through the modules in a group setting. Please note this is NOT a 'train-the-trainer' model. We supply all of the module content through video presentations and workbooks while schools simply provide the on-site facilitator/PD Leader to allow for group training and collaboration. The focus of this membership type is on addressing whole school/district needs including analyzing current common assessments, and creating new ones as needed. This type of account is perfect for schools and districts who plan to run PD sessions with teachers by grade, subject level, etc. Pricing as low as $13 per person.
